Ben Schettler  Ben Schettler was created to communicate. He is an evangelist with a unique gifting that allows him to connect with adults, children, and teens right where they are. His passion and energy communicate the never changing truth of scripture in a fresh way. Words like, "depth" "enthusiasm" "Bible-based" and "passion" have been used to describe his preaching style. Ben's itinerant ministry has taken him to three continents and over half the United States for conferences, revival crusades, camps, retreats and college and school chapels. Before a full-time focus on evangelism Ben served as the assistant pastor and director of youth ministries at Fellowship Baptist Church. He has also served as a representative and writer for the Christian Law Association, youth pastored in the multicultural urban heart of South Florida, Miami, and been a part of the traveling evangelistic team Truth Alive... Makenzie Schettler  Makenzie met Ben while pursuing a master's degree in Performing Arts. Ben's overwhelming passion for God's Word, his enthusiasm for life, his ambition to succeed, and his persistence in pursuing her proved that he was the man God had prepared for her. They were married in 2006, but that was only the beginning of the adventure. Early on, they made a decision in faith that, if at all possible, Makenzie would travel with Ben to support his speaking ministry. This decision has led them on a unique journey that allows them to serve Christ side-by-side. Makenzie uses her passion for performing to not only share God's Word with ladies and teen girls but also sing in church services. "Above all, I believe my most important calling in life, besides living out the Gospel, is to be Ben's biggest fan and most trusted confidant-a role I believe I'm able to fulfill because my prime personal passion is to know God more through His Word. I truly believe what I sing: 'Knowing You, Jesus, there is no greater thing'." |
